Donald Sassoon

Emeritus Professor of Comparative European History, Queen Mary University of London
I’m Emeritus Professor of Comparative European History at Queen Mary University of London. My field of research is history. I’m a historian, but I’ve avoided concentrating on any one particular theme. I have written about socialism, capitalism, the Mona Lisa and the cultural industry – but basically about 19th and 20th century European history.
