Professor of Cell Biology and Infectious Diseases, UNSW, Sydney
I’m Head of School of Medical Sciences at UNSW, Sydney. I was a Professor of Cell Biology and Infectious Diseases at the Imperial College London. I'm also Lab Head of my own independent lab, The Baum lab at the WEHI. In my lab, we use microscopy, molecular biology and genetics to look at the malaria parasite in all of its rich biology to try and make discoveries about its fundamental workings that are translatable towards what we hope could be a malaria vaccine.
