Co-Head of the Women’s Cancer Program, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
I’m the Co-Head of the Women’s Cancer Program at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. My research focuses on ovarian cancer. We’re very interested in acquired drug resistance for women who are being treated with chemotherapy. We’re also fascinated by a group of patients who survived despite the odds, whom we call “exceptional survivors”. We have a clinical programme where we translate the findings from the lab into clinical trials.
